... when I first was falling in love with this song, all I could think of was my children! And how I like so many things about them, but that's not why I love them ... I just do, even if the child just drove me nuts all the time, I'd still love them - no matter what!
... and I always especially love the line that says, "I like your style" - cause that so applies to each of my children, case in point:

since potty training, Liam spends most of his time at home without pants - just a shirt and underpants - for easy bathroom trips! It was absolutely hilarious the day he added one of daddy's socks to his ensemble! yes, indeed - I like your style, little Liam!
p.s. and for the record, I do not think of my children on the lyrics of "I like the way, you misbehave when we get wasted" OR "even though we didn't make it through" - clearly none of us in this household get (or have ever been) "wasted" and I know that we'll all "make it through" with each other!!!
