I know - it's been too long!  I had some quotes way back, but can't find them now!  no matter - I can catch up with a few from our trip and since we've been home!

Jericho ... "mama we need to go there and DEMAND they don't take away Nick, what has spongebob on it" ... sounds like a weird quite, right?  well, we have these commercials going about how we're going to be losing 25 channels and that was Jericho's response to it - LOL!

many of you know we were in New Mexico for nearly three weeks visiting the hubby's family!  it was pretty hilarious one night as Liam sat eating his dinner (it was late, cause he had taken a late nap) and suddenly he bursts out singing "any way you want it that's the way you need it" - what a crack-up!!!

one night while on a walk Liam was attempting to tell us who he was talking about (he was riding on daddy's shoulders and telling us something) and he goes:  "her, the old girl" ...

I know, poor grandma, but we all laughed!

then he continued:  "she doesn't have her steam stick ... her stick with fire, she threw it on the ground"

last one from vacation!  Liam was having a time out in the room we were sleeping in, which Zoey shared with us - so her monitor was in there.  I could hear him saying something, so I turned it up to hear:  "six they don't love me, seven they don't love me, eight they don't love me ..."  dramatic much?!  ha ha.

this time I really am gonna do it ...

sorry all, but this blog is going private!  I can't even explain it, but I have just become more and more uncomfortable to putting so much out for literally anyone to see.  I know that this blog probably only reaches my family and friends, but I'm no longer willing to take my chances. 

I promise, the only difference is that you'll have to log in to your account to read my blog - that's one step, easy!!!

in other news, we had a great trip/vacation visiting the hubby's family in New Mexico and on our way we got to visit my friend in Arizona!  we're home now and still working on unpacking - lol! 

we had a great fourth of July full of just chilling out!  I went out with a friend for some errands and a movie and then we all met up with her and her hubby and her girls for fireworks viewing - good times!!!

I guess I missed some photos in May - at least one, because I know that I packed

lunch for the zoo field trip!  anyway, here's our final lunch pic ... aside from that one day I think

I came close to my goal of taking a pic of every lunch I packed!

how to clean a bow ...

making hair bows is one of those things that takes quite a bit of

time - it's not that it's actually difficult, it's just effort and time consuming!

so one always hopes that they'll hold up!

that being said, Zoey has managed to effectively destroy one bow in

her life time ... doing so because she ripped it out of hair

and then ripped it apart before any one noticed!

considering how many bows I've made, and how often she takes them out - 

I'm confident in saying that our record is good!

but recently I was faced with a problem ...

someone (who shall remain nameless) either didn't notice and thought

it was no big deal that she (allegedly) took out her bow and

played with it during a meal - resulting in a spagetti covered bow!

argh.

I wasn't about to throw it out just 'cause it was dirty,

so I had to come up with a way to clean it -

and it was SO easy!  

so, I just thought I'd share for anyone else who may need to clean a bow!

daddy's girl ...

 my hubby is being a little silly - because I was on his case for blinking!

the man doesn't like photos and I can't blame him, because I don't either ...

but still, I'm capturing moments here and I know we'll all be glad!

especially moments like this, because they don't happen often at all 

any more ... in fact, I think not too long back I had a similar post - I guess

it's another one of those things that's rare enough to always photograph!

so, this day Zoey fell asleep in daddy's arms ...

for the first time in a while!

it was so sweet!
